I am a Canadian, from Port Coquitlam BC, who went to school with Judy Fox and remember Terry running around PoCo High prior to his run. I remember the day that he started, the news reports on the television and the day that he was interviewed on a gurney heading home when it stopped. I remember driving by the hospital when he passed away and how all of Port Coquitlam stopped.

Terry was always considered a little bit special and capable of special things and your work to remember a guy from my hometown all the way over here, is both amazing and wonderful.

My wife later was diagnosed with and treated for cancer and throughout that time I thought of the advances made due to Terry's efforts. Although in a different country, I like to think that he gave everyone a nudge and got his "dollar from every man, woman and child" - not too much to ask.”
