SEPT 19: MISSION COMPLETE!
the ‘UK-Canada Diplo-team for terry’ is the collaboration between the two high commissions, the british in canada and the canadian in the uk.
the ‘UK-Canada Diplo-team for Terry’ has been so successful, they decided to materially increase their goal, to over 3,500 kms from 970 kms!!
To Accomplish this formidable feat, the british military and the Canadian Forces stationed in CFB Suffield, Alberta, have joined this collaboration!
The New goal is to run twice the length of the UK, and from the alberta military base (Suffield) to the terry fox statue in thunder bay, ontario.
as this is another example of the uk and canada working together collaboratively, everyones mileage is shared towards the ultimate goal of 3,540 kms!
September 19th UPDATE: the collaboration has achieved its amazing goal! Thanks to all who took part including the Terry Fox RUN UK Ambassadors and Committee members who pitched in to complete the mission!

The British Army Training Unit Suffield, (Red Line) and the Canadian Air Force at CFB Suffield (White Line) have “teamed up for Terry” and combined to virtually run the distance from their Suffield Base in Alberta, to the Terry Fox National Historic Person Plaque in Thunder Bay, Ontario!
