For the first time ever, Wrexham is hosting a Terry Fox Run. To show their hospitality and appreciation for the participants and supporters coming to Wrexham from out of town, there is a whole weekend of activities planned!
This page is your guide to the events and is the place to register or register your interest for the events.
PLEASE NOTE - book or request your tickets early to avoid disappointment. Ramada has a group rate on a first come first served basis … and limited seats are available for the match and Thanksgiving dinner!

WELCOME TO WREXHAM, CANADA PARTY AT THE TURF
WITH FREE CONCERT BY THE DECLAN SWANS
Kick off the weekend with a special welcome. The Turf hosts us in the Fan Zone with a special appearance by the Declan Swans, and more surprises. Come meet your new friends from Wrexham and around the world who have flown in for the weekend. Among them will be Fred Fox, Terry Fox’s brother! This will be a fundraiser for the Terry Fox Run Wrexham.
Event Timings: 1800 - Doors open for 1830 start…. live DJ will start and end the event … Declan Swans take the stage approximately 1930….. there will be prizes for lucky winners but you must buy raffle tickets that are also good at the Terry Fox Run on Sunday….. event ends at 2130 and the Turf will welcome everyone inside. The club confirmed October 1st that the match has been cancelled. However, we are planning an exclusive tour of the city by stars of the show Welcome to Wrexham, and have an unforgettable experience
Meet the stars of the show Michael Hett (Scoot) of the Declan Swans, Neil Roberts of Vault 33, Lili of the Wrexham Woman’s team, Liam Stokes Massy and Rob from the video shop… we will see the main features of the town and the Welcome to Wrexham Documentary.
Meet at the Miners Rescue Station anytime after 11am on Saturday October 12, and get your package which includes a Wrexham special edition T-shirt and vouchers for free stuff …hurry before they are gone… 3 Maesgwyn Road, Wrexham - across the street from the stadium.

THE INAUGURAL TERRY FOX RUN WREXHAM
BELLEVUE PARK, 12:00 PM REGISTRATION, 1:00PM START
Run, walk or ride around the centrally located Bellevue Park! The run will be flat and on pavement with a circular path for those going any distance up to 10k. More information can be found on our event page, or go right to registration page where you can buy your limited edition Wrexham Terry Fox Run, in collaboration with Ryan Reynolds!
TRADITIONAL CANADIAN THANSGIVING DINNER
MAESGWYN HALL, 6:30pm START ON THANSGIVING SUNDAY!
We celebrate our Canadian heritage on this Thanksgiving weekend by holding a special dinner at the Hall across from the stadium and the Turf, a short walk from the Ramada hotel. The hall holds a maximum of 130 guests, and we want to invite everyone who is in town for the weekend to join us for turkey, stuffing and pumpkin pie, just like you would have at home. We have a special rate for dinner, put on by Wrexham’s best chef and the owner of the Fat Boar, one of Wrexham’s most exclusive restaurants! Join us for a little taste of home - please register before October 5 as numbers need to be confirmed!
